Establishing the right blend of marketing efforts to reach your customers where they are is not always straightforward and easy to do. However, you must figure out a way to master your marketing mix if you want to capture as large of a segment of the public as you possibly can. To do so, you need to think about the 4 P’s of marketing: Product, Price, Place, and Promotion.
Product
The backbone of any marketing effort that you attempt will be surrouding the product itself. This is what you are attempting to push out to the public, and it is where you have to start. Figure out the virtues of the product that you are attempting to sell and discover a way to explain what those upsides are in a manner that resonates with your target customer.
Price
Many customers are highly aware of the price of the goods that they purchase. They have to be because they are on a budget and they need to be mindful about where their money is going. If you can show them that your product is priced better than the competition, then you may win over more business that you would have otherwise.
Place
Think about the places where you are placing advertisements. Where will they be seen and by whom? Those are questions that you need to answer before you purchase your next ad buy. After all, you do not want to spend marketing funds trying to convince people who are unlikely to get on board with your products to begin with.
Promotion
Finally, don’t forget to highlight any special types of promotion that you can offer on your product at this time. People love a bargain, and they may be more likely to snap up something if it is offered at a special rate to them.
